100% Pasture Fed Steak Mince
Remove the steak mince from the fridge/freezer and allow it to come to room temperature before cooking.
Heat a heavy-based frying pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil or beef dripping. Once hot, add the steak mince to the pan in an even layer.
Allow the mince to brown without stirring for the first minute to develop flavour, then break it up using a wooden spoon or spatula. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until evenly browned and cooked through.
Season with sea salt and black pepper, then add any additional ingredients such as onions, garlic, herbs, or spices as required by your recipe.
Cook for a further few minutes to allow flavours to develop. Grass-fed mince cooks quickly, so avoid overcooking to keep it juicy and tender.
