100% Pasture Fed Beef Mince
Remove the beef mince from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature for 10–15 minutes before cooking.
Heat a heavy-based frying pan over medium–high heat and add a small amount of oil or beef dripping. Once hot, add the mince to the pan in an even layer.
Let the mince brown for the first minute without stirring to develop colour and flavour, then break it up with a wooden spoon or spatula. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until evenly browned and cooked through.
Season with sea salt and black pepper, then add onions, garlic, herbs, spices, or sauces as required by your recipe.
Cook for a further few minutes to allow the flavours to develop. Grass-fed beef mince cooks quickly, so avoid overcooking to keep it juicy and tender.
