How to Cook Grass-Fed Beef Minute Steaks
To defrost, place the minute steaks (still in their packaging) into a bowl of cool water for 5–10 minutes.
Heat a cast iron griddle or pan until smoking hot.
Lightly season the steaks with pure sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Add a small amount of beef dripping or ghee to the pan and keep the heat high.
Place the minute steak into the centre of the pan and cook for 30 seconds on one side. Turn and cook for a further 30 seconds on the other side.
Remove from the pan and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Take care not to overcook — minute steaks require just one minute of cooking to achieve the perfect result: tender, juicy, and full of flavour.
